"I am in good health. I can go wherever the Games organizers wish. And I have no problem holding the torch high."
Cao Zuosheng may be over a century old, but she is not letting age get in the way of her mission—to be one of those who carries the Olympic torch in the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, China.
The 103-year-old Zuosheng isn't just "hoping" she'll qualify as one of the torchbearers, but she's been ardently training, walking 300 meters a day with a stick.
"I am in good health. I can go wherever the Games organizers wish. And I have no problem holding the torch high," remarks Cao to reporters. She also washes her hair with cold water, claiming it keeps her healthy. To watch a short video of Zuosheng, CLICK HERE.
About 22,000 others are also vying to carry the torch in the 2008 Olympic games.
