"I would like thank everyone involved for supporting us in the air and on the ground. We can't begin to thank Carol enough for saving Alfie's life."

According to the SkyNews report, flight supervisor, Carol Miller sprang into action, using a drinking straw to clear the tiny newly born baby's lungs. Miller then performed CPR, as well as heart massage for a half hour, while the flight was diverted for an emergency landing so the baby could be brought to a hospital in London.
Little Alfie was reportedly born while passing over Germany, and weighed in at only one pound, one ounce. The preemie has since gained enough weight to be able to leave the hospital, as he is now five pounds, five ounces.
Mrs. Delemere stated, "I would like thank everyone involved for supporting us in the air and on the ground. We can't begin to thank Carol enough for saving Alfie's life."
