Alpha Course Flags and Billboards popping up all over Canada

(Canada)—An article in Canadian Christianity states that the Alpha Course, which has known great success in the UK, has become very popular among Canadian churches which have offered it.
Now Canada will be seeing billboards depicting an invitation to explore the Alpha Course in many of its metropolitan areas. Alpha "car flags" have also been spotted as part of the nationwide campaign.
Records kept by Alpha Canada have reportedly shown that over a million Canadians have taken the Christian course in the 10 years it has been offered there.
There has also been a correlation noted between the course and church growth. Senior Pastor for Broadway Church in Vancouver; Norb Kohler, remarked, "I would put [Alpha] at the top of all the opportunities the church has to effectively reach and engage the hearts and minds of people in our community. I believe that a church that is not currently involved in Alpha is missing a component that can bring great strength to the entire organization."
