"Do your best, learn in depth, care from your heart and let God do the rest."
(Aurora, Ill.)—Dr. Ramsis F. Ghaly, a former Joliet neurosurgeon now practicing in Aurora, Illinois, believes the human brain is key in a person's experience with God. This is the theme of three books Dr. Ghaly has written—the two latest in the series newly released this spring.
"In science," explains Ghaly, "the brain is the organ that everyone has, and one brain is fairly similar to another one. But the spiritual brain is the one that we will take with us when we die. It records every deed we've ever done and is each person's identifying mark." (Photo: Herald News)
Dr. Ghaly, an Eastern Orthodox Coptic Christian, cites a motto he has held to throughout his years as a neurosurgeon; "Do your best, learn in depth, care from your heart and let God do the rest." Many have reportedly been spared damaging effects of strokes and brain tumors, through his skill, and through God doing the rest.
