(United Kingdom)—Mick Leggett is a missionary, but not the kind that you might automatically assume because, contrary to conventional stereotypes, he works behind a computer screen.

In an engaging interview on Inspire U.K., Leggett gives unique insights into his calling and information that could easily apply to thousands of Christians around the world.

Leggett notes that technology is drastically changing the world—using the example of smart phones being used around the globe even in Third World countries—and says, "The internet is as significant a revolution to us as the Roman road was to the Apostle Paul in terms of how to communicate and get to know people who are currently strangers to the Gospel." Asked how he became a technical missionary, he replied, "It may sound glib to some, but the primary reason was because God called me into it. In this area of missions, God can only call those who have the skills and abilities to do the work and learn to use, develop, implement and maintain the technology."
