"Keep the faith. Don't give up. He's able. He'll do just what He said He'd do."
(Topeka, Kansas)? The Topeka Capital-Journal has published a tribute to 92-year-old Rev. Henry Calhoun, an associate minister at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church.
Says parishioner Debbie Harris, "I don't know anyone like him. He prays for you in the store?Dillon's, Wal-Mart, wherever. If you don't come to church, he'll call you and ask you where you've been. He's a real inspiration. Even if he doesn't know you, he'll come up and shake your hand and ask you, 'Has the Lord been good to you?'" (Photo: Phil Anderson/The Capital-Journal)
According to the report, Calhoun drives himself to the grocery store and church, visits the sick in hospitals, and he even mows his own grass.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," says Calhoun. "Keep the faith. Don't give up. He's able. He'll do just what He said He'd do."
