Prayer Alert: Wayne Dillard of PrayerCentral.net goes Home to Jesus the Day before Easter

EDITOR'S NOTE: BCN has been blessed by the ministry of Wayne and Kathleen Dillard at PrayerCentral.net, and their daily Baghdad Prayer Patrol, Troop Prayer Patrol and Afghanistan Prayer Patrol emails. We were saddened to learn, this weekend—the day before Easter, that founder Wayne Dillard unexpectedly went home to the Lord, leaving his wife and two daughters. While Wayne, no doubt, enjoyed his best Easter ever in Heaven, his family is still reeling from this loss, and needs our prayers for God to carry them through this time. Kathleen is bravely picking up where Wayne left off in the ministry the two began together. May the Lord bring her and her daughters the comfort that only He can give. –Aimee Herd, BCN.

Dear Prayer Partners,
This is Kathleen Dillard, Wayne's wife, writing to you today with some unexpected news. Last night, April 3rd at 7 PM Wayne had, what we believe to be, heart failure.

The day before Easter, he went into the arms of THE Resurrection Himself. It was a sunny day in Colorado and Wayne was busy and happy doing the things he loved.

As for myself and our two college age daughters, Julia and Jessica, we are in shock. Our hearts are both heavy and hopeful. Your prayers are a great help to us right now.

As for PrayerCentral, we feel Wayne was "in the middle" of so many God appointed projects, that I will take the baton forward where Wayne left off last night.
