"I saw that Jesus says 'Love your enemies.' I waited and waited and thought about it for a long time."

REPORTER'S NOTE: Time and again I notice a common thread going through many conversion testimonies. Lives are eternally changed by?if not a Holy Spirit lightening bolt from heaven?one Believer. Whether it's a cab driver (as in the story below) or you or me at the store, gas station, or doctor's office, it all comes down to reaching out to another human being. Often, when the divinely appointed opportunity presents itself, all it takes is a smile and a genuine act, or word, of kindness to open the door. -Teresa Neumann, BCN.

Hassan Yousef(Enid, Oklahoma)? The Oklahoman reports that thousands flocked to Emmanuel Baptist Church to hear a Gospel message from Palestinian Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of a radical Islamic group leader and member of Hamas, and himself a former leader of the Hamas youth movement. (Photo: FNC)

A Christian cab driver noticed Yousef in the streets of Gaza one day and invited him to a Bible Study. Yousef, who has been living in America since 2006, said Jesus' Sermon on the Mount was "a salve to his soul."

"I saw that Jesus says 'Love your enemies,'" he said. "I waited and waited and thought about it for a long time."

"He is refreshing to be around because Christianity has cost him everything, but there is an inner joy that temporal things cannot bring," said Emmanuel's pastor, Rev. Wade Burleson.

According to the report, Yousef feels it is his responsibility to spread the Christian message of love with others around the world.
