According to a Christian Today report, Ravi said the Church has always been in the forefront in serving the society, adding that the "state is always indebted to [the] Church… for its contribution in medicine, education and various other phases of human life."
He was also quoted as urging Church to ignore the criticisms from the outside world and stand for developments in the society.
