At the beginning of the game, the entire stadium in red, white, and blue sang the National Anthem (Video):

The entire country is getting into Team USA, and the Democrats and communists hate it (Video).

A sad note to the game is that the US will be without its best goal scorer, who was kicked out of the game for what looked like incidental contact with a Bosnian player. The ref thought otherwise, and the player won't be able to play in the next game.
