(Tallahassee, Fla) As the clock ticks down the hours before a feeding tube is set to be removed from disabled Florida woman, Terri Schiavo, her parents and many other supporters are planning to meet at the Capitol in Tallahassee, this Sunday, March 13th to make their voices heard. Focus on the Family is one of 12 pro-family groups that are sponsoring the event.

The rally will begin at 3pm on the steps of the old Capitol, as nearly 1,000 long-stemmed roses are to be handed out with a note attached to each one that says, “No Food, No Water,” symbolizing what is scheduled to happen to Schiavo unless legislators can intervene.

Carrie Gordon Earll, senior analyst for bioethics at Focus on the Family said, “Terri has become a silent spokesperson for hundreds of thousands of medically vulnerable people in the United States and in the state of Florida.”
