"This is not so much a campaign but a movement for people who are tired of supporting companies that don't match their values. The Burly Man Coffee Club is a simple way for coffee drinkers to support what they believe in. They are becoming the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting world." -Jeremy Wiles, Founder of Burly Man Coffee Club

Starbucks has become a household brand in America, with a store on nearly every corner. But there is a dark side to this corporation that coffee drinkers are starting to push back against. Starbucks supports abortion, through their support of Planned Parenthood.

Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr. explains:

"Through its corporate donations, Starbucks contributes to one of the most racist organizations in our nation's history. Planned Parenthood, the largest single provider of abortions in the US, performs more than 300,000 terminations each year."

Thankfully, coffee drinkers now have an alternative that matches their values. Burly Man Coffee is giving back by supporting struggling single moms. As Fox News reports, "The company, which was started in December, kicked off its campaign in March with the goal of helping 100 moms in need. The company said it plans to buy cars for 100 single women in need."

"So Howard Shultz (former Starbucks CEO) and Starbucks—they support death—and we support life," explained Jeremy Wiles, the founder of Burly Man Coffee. "We've been passionate about coffee for a long time ... and we said look, why don't we do something more than just sell coffee?"

Celeste Bokstrom, a single mom in Lake Worth was the first mother the Christian-owned company helped. She is a full-time caretaker for her son, Logan, 16, who has severe, non-verbal autism. Wiles said her story just resonated.

"I had no idea this was going to happen to me," Celeste said. "I had faith and believed that God knew my struggles, but I never expected this. Receiving a car has changed my world. And Logan is now getting the help he deserves. I'm so grateful."

Jeremy hopes that Christians and conservatives put down their Starbucks cup for a much better alternative—to help support single mothers and their children. People don't have to leave their values at the door when they swipe their credit card.

"This is not so much a campaign but a movement for people who are tired of supporting companies that don't match their values. The Burly Man Coffee Club is a simple way for coffee drinkers to support what they believe in. They are becoming the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting world," he explains.

"Be kind and drink great coffee," Wiles said. "That's our slogan." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
