You might not know that actor Steve Buscemi, recognized for his voiceovers in "Monster's Inc" as well as a whole host of prominent film roles, used to be a New York Firefighter. From 1980–1984, he fought flames with Engine Company No. 55, in the Little Italy section of New York.

But what many people don't know is that, following news of the attacks on the World Trade Center, Buscemi rushed down to ground zero to rejoin his fire crew and help save lives, some two decades after he'd first signed up for the job.
