It is the Democrats fault for being weak and ineffective with [Border] Security and Crime," Trump stated. "Tell them to start thinking about the people devastated by Crime coming from illegal immigration. Change the laws!"

Trump has continuously expressed the need for Democrats' participation in changing immigration laws to prevent events like this from happening, but Republicans and Democrats have failed to reach an agreement. The controversy has escalated into a nationwide battle between the two political parties with protests circulating the nation. Families being separated is, of course, devastating but preventing murderous crimes in the U.S. so more families aren't at risk is also important...
