This past Saturday, Alfie Evans ended a heroic battle for his life and died at Liverpool's Alder Hey Children's Hospital at 2:30 a.m. The 23-month-old's passing came after he spent the better part of a week outsmarting doctors who assured Alfie would die within "minutes" of his ventilator being removed.
