Chip and Joanna Gaines Help 81-Year-Old Victim of Hurricane Harvey Rebuild Her Home

Joanna Gaines said she was happy to finally get out and help the community, while her husband said it will take "a lot of hard work" and "a lot of money" to rebuild the damage done by the monster storm.

Houston resident Doris Davis was moved to tears after 60 volunteers restored her home, telling KTRK that she would never have been able to on her own due to her limited mobility (She employs the use of a cane and wheelchair to help her get around.)
Davis was rescued by her family as the hurricane bore down on the state of Texas, she said. She has lived in her home since 1999 and lost nearly all of her belongings in the flood.
