Bure quoted John 16:33, which reads "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world."

Bure went on to explain that evil does not take God by surprise, saying "He knows we will suffer in this lifetime and His heart breaks with ours. But He's also still sitting tall on His throne, not pacing back and forth nervously."
