Urgent Prayer Alert: Terror-by-Van Attack on Busy Barcelona Street; Reports of Multiple Fatalities, Injuries

(Barcelona, Spain)—According to multiple news reports, there has been what is being called a terror attack in a "popular tourism district" in Barcelona, Spain today (Thursday). (Photo: via Twitter)

Sky News reported that a "white van mounted the pavement of Las Ramblas" and "struck several people." The occupants of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene of carnage on the street.

According to Sky, Spanish radio station, Cadena Ser Radio, and the El Pais newspaper have reported that 13 people died and some 20 were injured in the attack.

Another Attack or the Same People?

In addition to this tragic news, a TV station in Spain reported that "two armed men" entered a Turkish restaurant and took hostages. It is yet unclear whether or not that situation has been resolved, or whether they are the occupants of the van.
