Wild Boars to the Rescue! Herd Ambushes ISIS Members, Just Prior to an Attack

The beasts managed to kill three ISIS fighters and injured five more, according to a local report.

The soldiers were hidden in a bed of reeds in the Harmin mountains, about 55 miles southwest of Kirkuk when the boars went on a killing spree. The fighters reportedly had plans to ambush local tribes who had fled to the Harmin mountains when the radical group seized control of the town of Hawija in 2014. In anticipation of such an attack, local tributes had formed anti-ISIS brigades.

ISIS tried to kill the boars in retaliation, but further details regarding the bizarre incident remained unclear.
