[Chicago Tribune] Retired Lt. Gen. Hal Moore—a true American hero who was depicted by Mel Gibson in the movie, "We Were Soldiers"—died last Friday, Feb. 10th, just 3 days before his 95th birthday. Moore was known for "saving most of his men in the first major battle between the U.S. and North Vietnamese armies," according to the Chicago Tribune. Click here to read.
