Just when you couldn’t imagine the campaign getting any stranger or more telling.

It started on several non-mainstream news sites with headlines such as “Spirit Cooking”: Clinton Campaign Chairman Practices Bizarre Occult Ritual.

Then the Charisma picked it up.

Then the Washington Times.

Then Townhall.

Bob Eschliman of Charisma wrote this:

In a June 28, 2015, email to Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, his brother Tony asks if he and/or his wife Mary will be in New York City on July 7 of that year and able to attend a dinner event.

It all sounds pretty mundane, until you read the forwarded part of the email, and add the proper context. Tony Podesta had forwarded his brother a request to have them both attend a "spirit dinner" hosted by "performance artist" Marina Abramovic.

Abramovic is an occultist who infuses her "performance art" heavily with elements of witchcraft. The "spirit dinners" she puts on involves painting the "recipe" for the "dinner" on the wall with congealed blood. Those "ingredients" usually involve blood and other unmentionable bodily fluids.

Her past performance art exhibits have involved gore and painful rituals that dabble deeply in the occult. She's most famous for a 1974 "performance" in which she laid out objects on the stage and, for the next six hours, allowed the audience to do anything they wanted to her with them.

And although the Townhall article is entitled: “No Podesta ‘Spirit Drinking’ Dinner Wasn’t About Devil Worship,” reporter Katie Pavlich admits that “Marina Abramovic is an artist (a strange, extreme artist) and published a ‘cookbook’ called ‘Spirit Cooking’ in 1996.” The adjectives describing the artist and the quotes placed around cookbook are a giveaway that all is not as it seems.

No doubt we haven’t seen the end of this story, especially if it gathers steam throughout the day in the mainstream media.

And just when I thought this election couldn’t get any stranger or more telling.
