Now, that's a different story than the mainstream media is pushing today!

(New York, NY) — [Newsmax] While the mainstream media is abuzz today with headlines like Clinton and Trump Bring Their Bitterness to Dinner or Trump, Clinton Trade Caustic Barbs as Roast Turns Bitter, the real story has emerged from last night's Catholic charity dinner in New York that paints a much different picture. One that is uplifting and good for the American people, but doesn't fit the divisive narrative so many are pushing.

On the Today show, New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan, who sat between Clinton and Trump, said that although the two were obviously awkward with each other, "There were some very touching moments." And, he added, they were also "kind to each other" after he asked them both to pray with him.

"After the little prayer," noted Dolan, "Mr. Trump turned to Secretary Clinton and said, 'You know you are one tough and talented women … this has been a good experience in this whole campaign as tough as it has been.' And she said to him, 'Donald whatever happens, we need to work together afterward.'"

The event, said Dolan, is a "family dinner where you're just hoping things go well … It is to be an evening of unity and friendship and joy... In general, hallelujah, the evening went very well."
