"In the past few days my spirits have soared and sank as I pursue the Lord's will and consider what the future might look like, but never once have I doubted this: that Jesus is Lord, His Blood has paid my ransom, and by His wounds I am healed." -Nabeel Qureshi, after being diagnosed with Stage IV stomach cancer on the eleventh anniversary of his conversion from Islam to Christianity.

(Grand Rapids, MI)—[PRNewswire] Nabeel Qureshi’s  latest book, No God but One: Allah or Jesus?: A Former Muslim Investigates the Evidence for Islam and Christianity (Zondervan, August 30, 2016) will debut at #8 on the New York Times-book non-fiction list for the week of Sept. 18. No God but One: Allah or Jesus? leads readers on an intellectual and theological journey as Qureshi examines the world's two largest and most popular religions—Islam and Christianity. In this anticipated follow-up book, Qureshi shares stories from his life and ministry, casts new light on current events, and explores the histories of both religions.

Qureshi was diagnosed with Stage IV stomach cancer in mid-August, on the eleventh anniversary of his conversion from Islam to Christianity. The author shared news of his diagnosis and prognosis via social media on August 30. The announcement was met with shock and an outpouring of support from those who have been touched by his ministry, and it has now been shared and viewed by 1.7 million people on Facebook alone. Qureshi is beginning treatment September 12 and has requested prayer for a miraculous recovery.

While most events planned for the book tour had to be cancelled, Zondervan has doubled its efforts to support the launch...

"This is a bittersweet time for all of us at Zondervan," says Stanley N. Gundry, SVP and Publisher, Zondervan. "We could not be more proud of the bestseller status for No God but One: Allah or Jesus? and how readers are responding to the book and recommending it to others. Yet our hearts are heavy for Nabeel's cancer diagnosis. We are fervently praying for his complete healing."

Nabeel wrote on August 30 that he is relying on God in his cancer diagnosis, adding: "In the past few days my spirits have soared and sank as I pursue the Lord's will and consider what the future might look like, but never once have I doubted this: that Jesus is Lord, His blood has paid my ransom, and by His wounds I am healed."

Nabeel and his family are currently living in the US. Additional information can be found at www.NabeelQureshi.com.
