Amid Rescue and Relief, a Makeshift Cross is a Sign of Faith and Hope in Italy

Sunday, Catholics in the badly hit town of Arquata del Tronto held a mass for survivors in a large tent under a makeshift cross, built out of two firefighter ladders and the helmets of rescue workers.

At least 290 are known dead after six more bodies were found in the last few days.
 
Much of the town of Amatrice, along with two other Medieval towns, have been reduced to rubble.

But 2,500 people no longer have a home. CBN Disaster Relief is partnering with Italy for Christ to bring humanitarian aid to the region.
 
They're providing shelter, beds, blankets, food and water for some of the victims.
