Rumors Say a Kidnapped Salesian Priest May be "Crucified" by ISIS Today—Good Friday, But Are they True?

Whether or not the sickening threat is real, Fr. Tom's kidnapping IS true, so please pray for him to be safely rescued.

However, a spokesman for the Salesians Bangalore, told UCA News that they have "no information" on that.
"These are all rumors," said spokesman, Fr. Valarkot. "When no has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping, how do we know other details."
According to the UCA report, the original rumors posted on social media claimed that ISIS had kidnapped Fr. Tom, and planned to execute him using crucifixion on Good Friday.
That Facebook post seems to have been taken down.
Rumors aside, the Vatican is said to be working on locating Fr. Tom and "securing his release" according to the UCA News report.
