According to numerous reports, the "incredible artifact," which matches the description preserved in historical documents, was until recently in the possession of the family of Doctor James Hasson in Great Britain.
In February, the ring was sold at auction to French donors who are reportedly placing it with the Puy du Fou foundation to showcase at an historical theme park in the western city of Nantes.
The ring, which features three crosses on it, will be on permanent display there.
