'One' Who Made a Difference: Kim Davis Given NRB President's Award for Loyalty to Christian Values

(Nashville, TN)—Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis on Wednesday received the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) President's Award for her unwavering commitment to Christian values in spite of government and media opposition. Davis was honored in Nashville, Tennessee, at Proclaim 16—the NRB International four-day Christian Media Convention of thousands of Christian communicators. Davis gained international attention after defying a federal court order requiring that she issue marriage licenses following the U.S. Supreme Court decision that supported same-sex marriages.
