Deaf Man Goes to This Starbucks 3 Times a Week, Then One Day, a Cashier Slips Him a Shocking Note

You see, Ibby is deaf, and one barista had been keeping her eye on him during his routine visits. To his great surprise, he walked in one day greeted by her taking his order in sign language along with this endearing note that read, "I've been learning ASL just so you can have the same experience as everyone else."

Though it may seem like a tiny gesture, it spoke volumes to Ibby, who took to Facebook with a message that has now been shared thousands of times. He wrote:

"Oh, I gotta love this place. Starbucks woman cashier, she wrote it to me and she knew I am deaf. I am surprised she learning sign language because I attend to Starbucks 3 times in a week. She asked me, 'What you want drink?' in sign language. I am so blessed with her. I think she realized Leesburg, VA have deaf people. Please share this post to everyone. I want hearing people would understand about hearing community supporting for the deaf community."

It's so uplifting to see strangers stepping out of their comfort zones to show a little empathy and compassion for their fellow man.

And this isn't the first time that a barista from America's favorite coffee chain has gone above and beyond for its deaf customers...
