"We Prayed So Hard for Him": Model Tyra Banks on "Miracle" Baby Son after Struggle with Infertility

In an Instagram message shared late Wednesday, the "America's Next Top Model" host revealed that she and her boyfriend, Norwegian photographer Erik Asla, sought the assistance of a gestational surrogate for the birth of their son.

"The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here," Banks, 41, captioned the Instagram post, which featured a striped baby hat. "He's got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin."

She added, "As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone," she wrote. "York Banks Asla, welcome to the world."

Asla later reposted Banks' photo along with the caption, "Witnessing the dawn of life is quite possibly life's greatest…
