Dr. Alveda King on Remembering Her Uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and the Dream God Gave Him

Today is a day set aside to remember and commemorate the inspirational life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the difference he made in our country and our world before his tragic death. (Photo via Dr. Alveda King's Blog)

His words and faith continue to draw us together as we consider his dream of race becoming a non-issue because a person's character is what's important.

Dr. King's niece, Alveda writes the following on her blog, and shares a music video of a song the Lord gave her honoring God and the dream of her uncle:

Upon the occasion of the 2016 MLK Holiday, may we thankfully remember in prayer the ministry of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and "Let Freedom Ring" and "thank God that King had a dream."
