Reverend Rafael Cruz called on Americans to reject the politically correct language of liberals, such as "gay" for "homosexual" and "pro-choice" for abortion support.

"We have to stop being politically correct," Rev. Cruz said in a report from CNS News. "We have to stop acquiescing even to the wording that the liberals use."

Rev. Cruz was forthright in calling out the duplicity of culturally accepted language used to describe immoral acts.

"Just think about it," he said. "They talk about the issue of life. They say 'pro-life' or 'pro-choice.' That's not the right word. It is 'pro-life' or 'pro-death.' It is 'pro-life' or 'pro-murder.'"

The preacher went on to explain how the concept of tolerance is also used to advance the homosexual agenda, with tolerance used to silence opposition to the lifestyle.

"And so, it's just like calling homosexuals 'gays,'" Rev. Cruz said. "Gay means happy."

"When you hear this attack on religion, it's not really an attack on religion," he told the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa. "The fundamental basis is this: Socialism requires that government becomes your god. That's why they have to destroy the concept of God. They have to destroy all loyalties except..."
