"Science & God Cannot Be Separated" -Natalie Grant Thanks God She Became a Mother Despite Fertility Issues

Grant extended her thoughts and prayers to those who are experiencing fertility issues, offering up a reminder that God answers prayers when we least expect Him to.

In the op-ed shared on FoxNews.com, the 43-year-old wife and mother-of-three first recalled the heartbreaking moment she was told she would never conceive children naturally.

"I received a phone call from the doctor delivering the news moments before I was to take the stage at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville," she writes.

"I was sitting in my dressing room when the call came. And though I was about to sing a duet with Wynona Judd, which was a dream come true, in a moment my joy turned to grief."

However, God had vastly different plans: today, Grant and her husband, Bernie Herms, have three young daughters.

"I'm incredibly grateful that we live in a country where I had skilled physicians and amazing advances in medicine that allowed my husband and me to conceive our twins," the Held singer writes. "I do not believe that faith and science can be separated, so I know that it is only through God, the Divine Giver of Life, that these miraculous medical advancements are even possible."

Grant said she is "so grateful" that sometimes, God provides completely unexpected miracles, referring to the natural conception of her youngest daughter as a "God-wink."
