(Sedgwick County, CO)—Girls' volleyball teams from Haxtun High School and Sedgwick County High School, along with others from Merino and Pawnee counties, were competing against each other on Monday when suddenly one of Haxtun's players collapsed after apparently suffering a type of "small seizure." According to a KUSA- 9 News report, as emergency crews were on their way, the girls on each of the four teams asked Haxtun if they could pray together. Soon a prayer circle formed on the court.

Said Christi Anne Gibson, who posted a photo of the prayer that has since gone viral: "It was the students that initiated it, which is awesome because they can pray on their own, and you know, schools aren't allowed to lead prayer. They all bent down on knee to pray and I just welled up with tears. It was kind of touching. It was a sweet moment that it came together for one of their peers."

"I wanted to show that there's hope," she added. "Hope for our children."
