Like so many others who have taken experimental detours in their spiritual life, Cybill Shepherd seems to be hearkening to the call to "Come Home." Pray that it's so.

Shepherd was "born a Christian [and] sang in the choir," but recently, she has come out publicly to say that she "lost touch with my Savior Jesus Christ. I stopped talking to Him and praying."

Indeed, when asked about her faith in a Fox News interview with Angie Harmon in 2009, Shepherd replied, "I'm a Christian Pagan Buddhist Goddess worshiper..."

No more, it appears, if what Shepherd said in a recent speaking engagement for the upcoming Christian film, "Do You Believe" is true.

Asked about how her role in the film affected her, Shepherd noted that she broke down and "cried four times" upon initially reading the script.

Apparently, prior to the making of the film, Shepherd said she "just started talking to Jesus and I started to feel really good and I got the offer to do this film." She was also quoted as saying it gives her "chills" to think about how she was offered the role after reconnecting with Jesus.

Please pray for Ms. Shepherd that she continues to hear the voice of her Savior and heed His call.
