Rory Alec Steps Down from GOD TV as Wife Wendy Prays for "Incredible Restoration" in Their Marriage

Canon Andrew White, Pastor Bill Johnson and other Christian leaders have faith that God is not finished with the television ministry despite Rory leaving her for another woman.

According to Wendy's statement, her husband embarked on an affair with a divorced Austrian woman he met while working with her on her jazz album. Rory is said to currently be living in South Africa on a farm belonging to the woman's father.

In her emotional explanation, Wendy described the temptation leading to her husband's moral failure as "a satanic assault on GOD TV and Rory and I. The devil got in very, very easily," she said, adding that the woman her husband is having an affair with supposedly heard God tell her that Rory was her "Mr. Right" and her husband.

"I don't know what the outcome will be, but I know this with all my heart," concluded Wendy. "I've got absolute trust in my Father God. He is beautiful and He is always good. I have absolute faith in incredible restoration and incredible restitution in our lives ahead."

Said Canon Andrew White of the sad situation, "God is going to cause revival to come and that's why the devil doesn't like it and he will try and stop it and destroy it, but the work of God has not finished. It has only just begun."

Pastor Bill Johnson of Bethel Church in Redding, California, agreed, calling on Christians to pray for and stand by the struggling couple. "They're in a place of real need right now," he said. "This is the worst time of us to pull away from these friends of ours.
