Pastor Dan Trevino, an associate pastor at Baptist Temple in San Antonio, Texas, told CBN News that he was "preaching to hundreds of kids at a time," and that over 2,000 of them have made decisions for Christ.

He says he's been sharing Joshua 1:9 with them all in Spanish as a "message of hope and encouragement… that God will always be with them."

Joshua 1:9 reads: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Trevino said in a CBN interview, "A lot of these young people, from what it appears to me, have an evangelical background. They have a strong faith in God, and believe in God; so I try to take it a step further… believing in Jesus as their Lord and Savior and Master."
