"She's my best friend…my life would be nothing without her."

Lindsay Cochran, although born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy which prevents her from walking, has been blessed with an amazing ally and best friend in her brother, Trenton.

"Sometimes people will just stare at her, it's like… ‘normal person here!'" says Trenton of his sister.

A popular YouTube video from 2013 shows the two hanging out on a basketball court, and pictures from the family's participation in a 5K run fundraiser.

The family won an "Unsung Hero Award," according to K-LOVE Fan Awards.

Trenton explains how much his sister means to him on the video, stating that he would "take a bullet for her," as he begins to choke up, pulling her into a hug as she sits in her motorized wheelchair.

"She's my best friend…my life would be nothing without her," Trenton says through tears.

Lindsay adds, "It's just easier to go through life with a big brother like Trenton."
