new ads The latest technology that uses vibrations in the skull to pass sound to a person's inner ear may be employed by Sky Deutschland, a German media company, to transmit ads inside unsuspecting passengers' heads if they lean against the train window.

The technique, which is already being used in hearing aids, headphones and in Google Glass, allows a person to “hear” something inside their head without it being audible to anyone else, according to a Telegraph UK report.

Sky Deutschland and BBDO Germany ad agency reportedly explained in a promotional video, “Tired commuters often rest their heads against windows. Suddenly a voice inside their head is talking to them. No one else can hear this message."

If approved, BBDO hopes to begin the state-of-the-art medium “as soon as possible.”

One can only imagine how this could be used without the best intentions in mind.
