New Website Launched for Christian College Students to Help Them "Defend Their Faith"

It's no secret that the challenges Christian college students face these days, in terms of diverse ideology all around them, have increased. From faculty and professors to fellow students, those Christians who attend secular colleges are often met with a testing of their faith.

Focus on the Family, aware of the need to help support the Christian beliefs of collegians, has launched TrueU.org, a new website for just that purpose. According to the ministry, more than 75 percent of Christian students will lose their faith or have it damaged by the time they leave college because they either don't understand or cannot defend what they believe.

Dr. Chris Leland, Director of College and University Outreach for Focus on the Family explained, "TrueU.org is a Christian worldview Web site that offers students a place to discover the truth. Christian kids need to realize that they are not alone in their beliefs, especially when they leave home. Our desire is to give them that place of community and at the same time equip them to defend their faith."
