Finally, New Outreach Sites for Men

Reporter Peggy Bohanon notes that Christian-based Web sites for women abound on the Internet, and surmises that it's time for men to have increased Christian Web presence as well.

Men Today Online is a brand new site just for men. It is "a high tech, high adventure, evangelistic Web site covering work, family, love and recreation…." (Believer's Weekly Site of the Week).

Web Evangelism Bulletin says that Men Today Online is "using the same effective principles" of the successful women's Web site, Women Today Magazine. Both sites are sponsored by TruthMedia in Canada; the men's ministry will be in beta mode during August and suggestions by visitors are welcome.

Web Evangelism Bulletin also highlights Man on the Road by Tom Burford, who also created Fires of Darkness. Buford says, "Through Man on the Road, we hope to reach those people who earn their livings traveling on the road - truck drivers, bus drivers, pilots, salesmen, etc. We are trying to reach them where they are without being preachy."
