Courageous Wife Saves Husband from Mauling Black Bear; Husband: "I owe her my life"

When she realized she didn't know how to load the shotgun, a Wisconsin wife used the gun to club a year-old black bear who was attacking her husband outside their cabin. Escaping the bear's clutches momentarily, the two then backtracked into the cabin and waited for police. The man suffered bite marks from his waist to the back of his head and required staples to close some of the wounds. He told reporters he'd now teach his wife how to properly load and fire the shotgun. "I owe her my life," he said.
