According to a new report on the "Pray for Pastor Saeed Abedini" Facebook page, Pastor Saeed has been released from solitary confinement, where he'd been held since last week, following a protest of harsh treatment and conditions at Evin prison in Iran.

Saeed was sentenced to 8 years at the notoriously violent prison, for his Christian faith. His wife, Naghmeh continues to petition various governmental authorities for his release. She shares on the Facebook page that she was interviewed by both the BBC and VOA Persia. "I was able to share about my faith in Jesus that is the Source of my strength and joy and peace in the midst of storms," posted Naghmeh on Facebook. "I was able to share that Christianity...is through Jesus Christ and forgiveness of sin that we can have relationship with God. Millions of Iranians got to hear the Gospel for the first time!"
