Video shows police letting themselves in without a warrant and taking baby. "I'm going to grab your baby, and don't resist, and don't fight me okay?" one officer can be heard telling the mother in the video.

UPDATE: According to a Blaze report, the Nikolayev's have gotten one step closer to getting their baby back from CPS custody, after a court ruling on Monday. They are now allowed to see little Sammy "whenever they want," however they must follow "all future medical advice," and they will receive regular house visits by a county social worker once the baby is returned to their home.

Anna and Alex with Sam(Sacramento, CA)—Parents Anna and Alex Nikolayev were in for the shock of their lives when police confiscated their five-month-old baby after the couple became fed up with what they considered to be poor advice from their doctor regarding heart surgery for their child and sought out a second opinion.

"If we got the one mistake after another," said Anna, who apparently left the hospital without signing all the proper discharge papers, "I don't want to have my baby have surgery in the hospital where I don't feel safe."

Anna and Alex with SamAccording to a report in The Blaze, doctors at Sutter Memorial Hospital allegedly argued with the Nikolayev's about getting a second opinion, but they remained firm. A video set up before the subsequent arrival of Child Protective Services caught the removal of the baby from the parents' home as it unfolded. (Photo via News10/KXTV)

Originally from Russia, Alex Nikolayev was quoted as saying the actions of the state reminded him of the communist regime there.
