"There had to have been angels watching over him."
(Aurora, CO)—Jessica Hayes told reporters it was a "miracle" that her son Dylan (4) wasn't seriously hurt or worse, when he fell out of their 3rd-story window a couple weeks ago. (Photo: CBSLocal.com)
Hayes was busy shampooing the carpet, while her mother cleaned out their refrigerator, when suddenly she heard her mother scream that Dylan had fallen through the screen and out the window.

According to the 4News CBS Local report, Dylan "did two somersaults in the air" and incredibly, landed on his feet on the rocks directly below the 3rd-story window.
"I fall . . . really, really far," said Dylan to a reporter.
Although he was taken to the hospital and wore a neck brace as a precaution, the little boy was "released with barely a scratch."

Mom-Jessica still tries not to blame herself for not realizing the danger, but to help, she has moved her family out of the apartment and in with relatives until they can find a one-story place to live.
She hopes her story will serve to remind other parents of young children to be aware of the dangers of living on upper floors.
