EDITOR'S NOTE: While Malala Yousufzai is not a Christian, the Lord Jesus has obviously protected her from death and is healing her. Pray with me for this girl that she will come to know the One who has been her help, and who has given her this extraordinary courage to speak out against great evil. Pray for her protection as well, since the Taliban have vowed to end her life. –Aimee Herd, BCN.

(United Kingdom)—Fourteen-year-old Malala Yousufzai has shown extraordinary bravery in face of terror—literally.

The teen girl has gained notoriety in Pakistan, as she has courageously spoken out on behalf of Pakistani women and girls that they have the right to an education.

This has been met with threats from the Taliban, which quickly turned into reality weeks ago, when a member of the terror group boarded Malala's school bus and, after calling her name to confirm her identity, shot her point blank in the head.

Her father, who was reunited with his daughter in Britain for the first time last Friday, was elated to see her and how well she was recovering.

"In the condition when I saw my daughter . . . we were hopeful but we did not expect . . . that she can talk, that she can see," Ziauddin Yousufzai said, according to the CNN report.

Ziauddin added, "I love her and this morning, last night when we met her, there were tears in our eyes and they were out of happiness, out of happiness."

Reportedly, Malala had asked for her school books, and her father brought them for her.
