(Lufkin, TX)—In case you haven't seen it, a photograph of four firefighters praying together before eating at a restaurant has gone viral on Facebook.
According to a KTRE News report, the owner of Skyline Burrito Bowls, Tavo Velazquez, took the photograph and was thrilled to see it shared with so many. "It just shows me how powerful God is and all He can do."
"We just bowed our heads to pray," said fireman Wade Modisette, "It's nothing spectacular . . . we weren't trying to make a political or spiritual statement or anything. That's just what we do at the station all the time."
Modisette ventured to guess that the reason the photo went viral is because "maybe we're getting away from that as a world, as a country, as a community, and maybe it's something we need to refocus on."
Even television host Kelly Ripa shared the photo on Twitter, saying, "Praying heroes. I love this shot."
