3,000-year-old prophecy being fulfilled today

In the 8th century B.C., Amos, a shepherd and fig farmer in the Judean wilderness, declared God's promise: "I will bring back the captives of My people Israel."

In 1948 this scriptural promise was realized. As hundreds packed into the tiny room in Tel Aviv, David Ben-Gurion stood up RIGHT) and said, "Placing our trust in the 'Rock of Israel,' we affix our signatures to this proclamation...(to) declare the establishment of the Jewish State in Eretz-Israel, to be known as the State of Israel."

At that moment, words of prophecy over 3,000 years old came to pass.

The prophecy goes on to say that they will "make gardens and eat fruit from them."

Miraculously, though it was originally large swaths of desert, today Israel has become the breadbasket of the Middle East - but in the last years, crisis after crisis has erupted.

Most recently, Israel has been bombarded by hundreds of rockets day and night, even as they welcome Ukrainian refugees arriving daily trying to flee their war-torn land.
