NY Public Library Stands Up to Cancel Culture: Won't Pull Seuss Titles Because It 'Does Not Censor Books'Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced earlier this week it would stop publishing the six embattled books as "part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises' catalog represents and supports all communities and families," the company said in a statement to the Associated Press.
"As with all public libraries, the New York Public Library does not censor books," said spokeswoman Angela Montefinise, according to the New York Post. Montefinise said the library, which serves Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island, will keep the "cancelled" books—"And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street," "If I Ran the Zoo," "McElligot's Pool," "On Beyond Zebra!," "The Cat's Quizzer," and "Scrambled Eggs Super!"—on its shelves...
