"Rocked with Holy Fear": Group Off Coast of Maine Take Picture of Otherwise Invisible Man in White Praying on Their Boat

(Owl's Head, Maine)—Last autumn, when Jane Dobson received the news that a beloved friend and sister in Christ had passed away, she was grief-stricken.

Visiting her in her home at that time, according to a story in God Reports, were a number of guests. She had been praying that Jesus would reveal Himself in new ways to them.

Responding to his wife's grief, Bill Dobson caught a break in the weather on the afternoon October 2, to take his wife and eight of their guests for a ride along the coast in his boat.

Jane noted that everyone left her alone to grieve as she prayed to Jesus for comfort. An hour later, according to the report, Jane felt a "noticeable change in the atmosphere." Then something unusual happened as they neared the lighthouse at Owl's Head State Park.

Said Jane: "I felt God's presence so powerfully, it was astounding to me. It was like someone flipped a switch and I went from horrific grief to inexpressible joy."

Her grief had simply "vanished."

Jane's daughter, Kirsten—experiencing the same spiritual breakthrough—agreed. "All of a sudden," she said, "the most amazing sense of peace came over us."

But God's presence didn't end there. According to the report, one of their friends on the boat was taking pictures with his new camera and when he looked at the picture he had taken of his wife Elizabeth, he was flabbergasted.

An unknown figure—a man—in white was reflected in his wife's sunglasses. His head was bent as if he was praying. No one like that was on the boat.

Michael, who took the photo and says the picture is absolutely unadulterated, said, "I'm going to rethink my entire life after taking that picture."
