According to a report by CNS News, federal borrowing is on the brink of hitting the debt limit as set in law by President Obama last February.

On February 12, of 2010, Obama signed into law a legal limit on the national debt of $14.2940 trillion. At 4pm today (Wednesday), the "portion of the national debt subject to this legal limit was $ 14.268365 trillion."
